Advocate for Your Community

There are many opportunities to get involved and share your water challenges and needs. This includes attending your local Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) meeting, joining a Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) Board or Advisory Committee, your local Water Commission, the Safe and Affordable Funding for Equity and Resilience (SAFER) Advisory Group, or other local water agencies.

Self-Help Enterprises’ Rural Community Water Managers Leadership Institute

This capacity-building program for residents and leaders from small and rural communities gives residents the skills and knowledge to better participate in regional water management programs.

Emergency Services for Dry Household Wells

If your well is going dry or has gone completely dry, a storage tank and hauled water can be provided as a short-term solution. Applicants to this program are also eligible for bottled water and will be provided with additional information about funding options for a new well.
